5.4oz/300yds handspun polwarth/llama/silk DK weight yarn

This listing is for 480yds of handspun lace weight yarn. This was spun from a braid of 60/20/20 polwarth/llama/silk dyed by Inglenook fibres in their colorway “scallion”. This is spun by our resident spinner James Perry.

James is an internationally recognised expert in hand spinning, who teaches worldwide and has been publishing for 10 years now.

This yarn is spun short forward with twist in the drafting zone and chain plied to give a yarn with plenty of squish but with plenty of definition too. It’s around light DK weight.

We recommend you wash this in cool water with a detergent added. It has been dyed with commercial acid dyes.
