Lendrum Saxony 60:1 head

The lendrum saxony 60:1 head is the elusive head also known as "the stupid fast flyer"

This is a very specalised piece of equipment, featuring an irish tension assembly which is braked only by air resistance, not by any brake band. 

The orifice is approximately 3mm, and the ratios on this assembly are 45:1 and 60:1. This head is only designed for those who wish to spin fine yarns at production speeds. 

The flyer is a similar shape to the very fast flyer for the upright wheel, and the flyer rides in sealed bearings inset into the same black delrin as the scotch and double drive heads. This head requires the 60:1 bobbins and will not take the standard lendrum saxony bobbins. 

With this head you will receive, the mother of all, flyer, one bobbin and an orifice hook.

We do not keep these heads in stock, rather they are ordered specifically for you from lendrum. This is because we will need to know which wood your wheel is and which side your flyer is on, so please select the option for your wheel when you purchase.

All lendrum saxony parts come unfinished. You will therefore need to add your own finish to the parts when you receive them.
